Soldier Portrait WIP 7

I have now finished the soldier's helmet, but there are still bit & pieces of his face that I am tweaking. His eyebrows mainly. Now I'm onto his uniform. That should go fairly quickly since I have already worked out the palette for it. However, it has turned humid once again here and we currently have a storm passing through, so I may have to go to McDonald's again to get more work done on this.

This is now moving along nicely and I hope to have it completed by the end of this month.

I really like the light on his face.
I'm looking forward to seeing it completed. :)

  3. Jen, I always order some little thing, like a soda and maybe a 4-pc nuggets, then just sit there and nibble and sip while I draw. No one seems to mind, and I even picked up an art student for private art lessons that way. :D

Thanks for your comment. I appreciate it.

  5. Hi Nancy. This is looking very good. I really think you need to get a window unit a/c...for the sake of your art! ;-)

  6. Thanks Beth!

No can do unfortunately. It's okay though. I've learned to live with it and around it. Now I work on pastelbord and film only in the summertime. Just didn't get this done before summer is all.

Did you know Neocolors melt terribly in the heat??? :D
